I don't envy sports talk show hosts whose shows are driven by one or only a few sports. Here in Salt Lake City there is really on the Jazz and the college sports teams. No I am not dogging on MLS, it just isn't really on the sports map here with most people so the hosts don't give Soccer much play. I love soccer.
It must be really difficult to have to rehash the same issues everyday with relatively little change, while trying to bring fresh perspectives to it so your listeners keep tuning in. I mean how many times can you discuss, "Will or won't Carlos Boozer opt out"?
That is really okay though since I am not listening to the radio much lately as I try to use my drive time to improve how I think.
Hopefully the Jazz will have exciting news soon. Without some big moves next year may end up pretty painful.
