What is up with the Jazz?

So for the second game in a row, the Jazz choked away a huge lead in the third quarter. I can understand getting a little complacent and letting a big lead shrink, but 24 points? Gone?

I guess the consolation is that they won.

Seems like a fairly brutal stretch run, hopefully the Jazz can finish strong. I don't think they will win the North West, but it is still possible. Home court seems like a must watching these guys play on the road.

I Love the Cold

I live in Salt Lake City and the last couple weeks of February as well as the first several weeks of March were unseasonably warm. Already into the 70's. We have needed moisture and I was really not ready to get to spring/summer.

Hooray for the Rocky Mountains, they delivered for me. The last week has been cooler (though I haven't experienced anything in the States in years that I would truly describe as cold) and we had some snow. I love it! I love it even more when I see people grouchy because it is snowy and cold in February and March, it makes me giggle inside. Why do you live in the Rockies if you don't like cold?

So, I thought that I would state: I love the cold. One of my favorite feelings in the world is "booger freezing cold": when you walk outside, breathe deeply and everything all the way into your sinuses tingles and freezes. Call me weird, I think it is awesome. Since the last time I was in Russia, I haven't gotten that sensation. I miss it, time to visit colder climes...

WELCOME

Welcome to my mind. Unlike many blogs that I read/sites that I visit I don't have an incredibly specific goal here, I simply intend to use this blog for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to: miniature war gaming, book reviews, politics, economics, family, religion, and finally general thoughts & commentary on anything I please.
