I live in Salt Lake City and the last couple weeks of February as well as the first several weeks of March were unseasonably warm. Already into the 70's. We have needed moisture and I was really not ready to get to spring/summer.
Hooray for the Rocky Mountains, they delivered for me. The last week has been cooler (though I haven't experienced anything in the States in years that I would truly describe as cold) and we had some snow. I love it! I love it even more when I see people grouchy because it is snowy and cold in February and March, it makes me giggle inside. Why do you live in the Rockies if you don't like cold?
So, I thought that I would state: I love the cold. One of my favorite feelings in the world is "booger freezing cold": when you walk outside, breathe deeply and everything all the way into your sinuses tingles and freezes. Call me weird, I think it is awesome. Since the last time I was in Russia, I haven't gotten that sensation. I miss it, time to visit colder climes...
